Buffet Terms

Crockery, Cutlery and Utensils

  • Standard Package: The event will feature rectangular chafing dishes, melamine plates, stainless steel cutlery, and disposable cups. Each guest will be provided with one complete set, with an additional 30% sets available for contingency.

  • Premium Package: Throughout the event, we provide roll-top chafing dishes, melamine plates, stainless steel cutlery, and hi-ball glasses. Each guest will receive one complete set, with an additional 30% sets available for extra convenience.

  • Customers are responsible for providing their own utensils and crockery for any food items not catered by us, such as desserts or cakes.

Furniture and Fixtures

  • Furniture setup for guests, including round tables, oblong tables, cocktail tables, chairs, and bar stools, is not included in the packages.

  • Customers must provide suitable tables for food service unless canopy or furniture is rented from Boganvilaa Food Catering Services."

  • Boganvilaa Food Catering Services is not responsible for setting up furniture rented from third-party vendors. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the furniture is arranged before the event begins.

Decorations and Ambiance

  • Decorative arrangements on buffet tables will feature artificial flowers.

Staffing and Service Personnel

  • Waiter Charges: RM80 per person for the first four (4) hours.

  • Overtime/Additional Hours: An additional charge of RM20 per hour, per waiter, will apply beyond the standard service duration.

  • Please note that a double rate will apply if the event occurs on a Malaysian public holiday.

Serving Duration

  • The service duration is limited to 4 hours. For any extension requests, please inform management in advance, as additional charges will apply.

  • Boganvilaa Food Catering Services assumes no responsibility for the quality or safety of food consumed beyond the recommended time, including any items taken off-site.

Event Setup

  • Boganvilaa Food Catering Services will arrive at the venue 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to the event to guarantee the food's freshness.

  • Requests for setup exceeding three (3)hours or made a day in advance will incur additional charges.

Booking and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, requiring a 50% deposit to secure the reservation.

  • We do not accept temporary reservations or verbal confirmations under any circumstances.

  • Full payment is required at least one (1) week prior to the event date.

  • Boganvilaa Food Catering Services reserves the right to modify menu selections and packages without prior notice.

  • The deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is made with less than seven (7) days' notice.

  • The customer will be held responsible for any costs incurred due to breakage or damage to equipment or crockery.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or in cash.

Additional Terms

  • Boganvilaa Food Catering Services shall not be held liable for any issues arising from last-minute changes made by clients to the event details.

  • Our staff will exclusively manage food and beverages prepared by our kitchen. If additional staff is required to handle any outside food and beverage service, please notify the event coordinator in advance.

  • We do not serve pork or beef at any of our events. Additionally, customers are prohibited from serving dishes that contain pork or beef during the event.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any damages, missing items, or disruptions in the flow of food and beverages that are not prepared by our kitchen.
